The 76th Annual Harvest of Harmony Parade “Nebraska, Let’s Celebrate 150 Years!,” hosted by Tom Dinsdale Automotive, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Nebraska’s largest parade attracts more than 200 entries from a combination of high school bands and floats for a parade competition downtown and a field show competition at Grand Island Senior High School. Last year, the parade had 107 bands participating in the parade, 79 float entries, and 27 pageant contestants, and 23 bands competing at the field competition.
Register your band and be a part of Grand Island’s grand tradition!
Enter your business in the parade!
A float entry in the parade is a fun way to get exposure for your business or organization while showing your support for the community! Each year, over 10,000 people from all over Nebraska flood downtown to watch the spectacle, and thousands more view the parade live on NTV. The Harvest of Harmony parade features over 100 high school bands and over 80 float entries from businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes.
Join the Celebration!
This year, the Harvest of Harmony Pageant, Parade and Field Competition is an official event of the Nebraska 150 Celebration, and we are proud to be a part of the festivities. We hope people use the theme to help showcase Nebraska’s past, present, and future!
We need your help!
