About Us...
Central Community College serves a 25-county area with campuses at Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings and education centers in Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington. Courses are offered at numerous off-campus sites. CCC offers both vocational and academic transfer programs, which prepare graduates to begin careers after two years of full-time study or less. The Grand Island Campus offers associate of applied science degrees, diplomas and certificates in 16 career and technical education programs, an associate degree in nursing, and associate of arts and associate of science degrees through the academic transfer program. The Central Nebraska Child Advocacy Center is a child-friendly facility where childern who are victims of abuse may be interviewed by forensically-trained professionals in a safe and secure environment. Utilizing our Child Advocacy Center lessens the trauma experienced by a child at the time of disclosure. We provide services to victims and their family members at no cost. Community Health Charities of Nebraska (CHC-NE). CHC-NE is a statewide fundraising federation dedicated to improving the health and wellness of all people. Our volunteers raise money through workplace payroll deduction campaigns, corporate matching funds and Foundation contributions to benefit our 17 member health agencies. CHC-NE focuses on health issues and represents non-profit health agencies.
