Tonja Broadwell

Tonja Broadwell joined the Chamber
Board in 2007. In addition, she is Chair of the Chambers
Information Technology Committee, Chair of the Chambers
Leads Group, Chair of the College Park Board, and a member of
the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army. Some of her past
community involvement includes Division Chair and Board Member
of Heartland United Way, and President of Central Nebraska Council
on Alcoholism Board. She received the Distinguished Alumni Award
from Central Community College, Grand Island, in 2000, was named
Woman of the Year by a local BPW chapter in 1998, and is a Leadership
Tomorrow Graduate, class of 1989. |

Kent Brown

Kent Brown is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nebraska Truck Center, Inc. and has been with the company for over 25 years. He holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is married to a school teacher named Patty, and has two grown sons. Kent has served on the Chamber Board for three years, is involved with the Workforce/Education and Budget and Finance Committies, and is also currently serving on the First Presbyterian Church Session. |

the Central Community College Foundation Board of Directors,
is a member of the Bellevue University Grand Island Executive

Cross, Seniors Foundation, and Willard Community Center. |

Lisa Crumrine is a founding partner in the Real Estate Group. She has been a Chamber Board member since 2006. Lisa currently serves on Board of Governors for Nebraska Realtor’s Association, Advisory Board for Community Redevelopment, Governmental Affairs and Leads for the Grand Island Chamber. She is also involved with Heartland Workplace Ministries and Women’s Bible studies. Lisa is a Graduate of Leadership Tomorrow Class 2000 and Past President of the Grand Island Board of Realtors. |

Dr. Stephen Joel

Dr. Steve Joel is entering his 24th year as a superintendent of schools and is currently serving his 9th year as the Superintendent of GIPS.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Joel has a teaching degree from Doane College, a master’s from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a
doctorate from Kansas State University. In addition to his duties as
superintendent, Joel is an active member of the Grand Island Multi-cultural Coalition, the Grand Island Noon Rotary, TeamMates and serves on the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development boards. He is also an adjunct professor in the area of leadership and management. Joel was honored with the Nebraska Superintendent of the Year award in 2000, the ERDI Educational Excellence in Leadership Award in 2006, and in 2007, he was named the Grand Island Independent Man of the Year. |

Mark Miller is President of Eakes Office Plus.
Mark was Computer Network Administrator for JC Penny in Kansas
City, MO. In 1993, he joined Eakes Office Plus in Grand Island
where he assumed the role of president in 2000. Mark currently
serves on the board of Grand Island Noon Rotary, and is active
with Heartland United Way. |
