    About this position:

    As a Direct Support Supervisor at Mosaic, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of people with disabilities and the people who support them in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position you will coordinate scheduling of up to 12 employees, activities and operations of day services for 20 individuals. You will work with regulatory agencies such as Department of Health and Human Services, Fire Marshall and internal quality assurance to develop compliance systems and practices to deliver high quality services deserving of each individual who chooses Mosaic's services.
    As a leader, you will coach, develop and train all new and current employees to grow in building relationships with each person, family member, guardian and peer they reach each and every day. As a good financial steward of resources this position will monitor day services budget, order supplies, account for spending and receipts for all department purchases.
    This position requires flexibility in schedule, effective communication with several stakeholders within and outside of working hours, navigating systems, technology and practices to build capacity and creating a culture of endless opportunity for each person receiving Mosaic services.

    Schedule:
    Generally 8a-5p M-F, on call responsibilities which can include evening and weekend hours to meet the needs of the individuals/department

    Requirements:
    • Associates Degree in a related field (can substitute 2 years’ experience in field)
    • Valid US Driver’s License
    • Minimum of 1 year related experience ID/DD field required, with 6 months - 1 yr. supervisory experience
    • May require certification in CPR and medication administration
    • Ability to navigate and teach/train different technology with staff
    • Work requires frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending with occasional periods of sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.
    • Work also requires constant reaching between knee and shoulder level as well as frequent reaching below knee level and overhead.
    • Work requires occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force and the ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
