    Section B: Job Summary
    Communicate directly with customers, primarily by telephone. Respond to customer calls post sale and post shipment of the product. Determine the best method to resolve these calls to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Work closely with the shipping, production, and sales departments to effectively serve the customer’s needs.
    Section C: Essential Functions
    • Take phone calls from customers with concerns or needs related to parts, shortages, and quality related issues post shipment.  
    • Work with the shipping and production departments to verify past shipment pictures and potential shortages.
    • Recommend products and solutions to customers, based on customers' needs.  Verify inventory quantities based on these needs.
    • Complete documentation requirements per the shipping, quality, and sales department work instructions.
    • Work with shipping and production to expedite product through the facility and shipping to meet the customer’s needs. 
    • Work closely with engineering to be sure that the products meet customer specifications, BOM, and routing requirements as needed.
    • Work with the quality department if a customer has a potential quality or warranty concern. 
    • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
    • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
    • Prepare estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
    • Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
    • Explain and promote company products and our services to our customers, availability, product uses and credit terms.
    • Discuss customers’ needs and prepare quotes to meet their requirements.
    • Follow-up with clients to clarify our quotes, answer questions, and sell our company, our products, and our services.
    • Process orders, verifying receipt of all information required to properly produce and deliver our product.
    • Assist other team members by taking calls during absences, by learning together, and by giving support and encouragement.
    • Work effectively with other departments to solve problems and serve our customers.
    • May be asked to attend trade shows. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Section D: Job Qualifications
    Education: Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) or work equivalent.
    Experience: 2+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Service.

    Section E: Physical/Visual/Mental Demands
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements include the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
