Farm machinery and equipment manufacturing employment is projected to grow by 3.7% nationwide over the next decade. Exports of agricultural equipment account for nearly 10% of Hall County’s total exports.

    Our growing health care services have earned Grand Island the reputation as a regional care center. In 2018 alone, ground was broke and work began on the new Grand Island Regional Hospital on South Highway 281. Meanwhile, CHI Health St. Francis began work on its new state-of-the-art cancer treatment center. With specialists such as neurologists, oncologists, and pulmonologist to occupational therapists and nurses, there is a wealth of opportunity for health care professionals in our community. Nearly 5,000 people are employed in the health care and social assistance fields.
