Friday, October 1, 2021Harvest of Harmony’s 2021 theme, “We are All Superheroes,” could specifically apply to the many volunteers who make the much-loved Nebraska tradition happen – volunteers like Tom Graves. Longtime volunteers Graves and Marcia Reidy have been helping with the parade for decades, planning and organizing the fleet of cars that winds down the parade route. Read more(0) Comments
Friday, October 1, 2021The 79th Annual Harvest of Harmony Parade, sponsored by Tom Dinsdale Automotive, will be Saturday. Nebraska’s largest parade attracts more than 190 entries from a combination of high school bands and floats for a parade competition downtown and a field show competition at Grand Island Senior High School. Wednesday, August 4, 2021Late summer and early fall is a busy time for Grand Island. From the last week of August through early October, the community hosts a number of events that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors. To make those events successful, many volunteers are needed, whether it’s the Nebraska State Fair, Husker Harvest Days, Aksarben Stock Show or Harvest of Harmony.
