Pintwood Derby

Since 1953, one of the major Highlights of the Cub Scout year is the Pinewood Derby. Cub Scouts and their parents work together to design and create a vehicle out of a block of wood. Once the car is completed, the Scouts race against each other.

Now it's your turn! The Overland Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America has teamed up with Kinkaider Brewing Co to bring you the Pint Wood Derby! You will get a chance to build and race your won car for all the bragging rights. Your friends and business competitors have bragged about the cars they built when they were Cub Scouts. now is the time to challenge them to step up and prove their design abilities again!

• $50 Participant: Gets a Pinewood Derby car kit to build and race your own car and a free beer from Kinkaider.
• $75 Car Sponsor: Gets a Pinewood Derby car kit to build and race your own car, a free beer from Kinkaider, and a 2" x 3 1/2" ad in the program book.
• $125 Lane Sponsor: Gets a Pinewood Derby car kit to build and race your own car, a free beer from Kinkaider, a quarter-page ad in the program book, and recognition at the event. 
• $250 Finish Line Sponsor: Gets a Pinewood Derby car kit to build and race your own car, a free beer from Kinkaider, a half-page ad in the program book, and recognition at the event. 
• $500 Track Sponsor: Gets a Pinewood Derby car kit to build and race your own car, a free beer from Kinkaider, a full-page ad in the program book, your company logo on the event banner and website, and recognition at the event.

• Best use of “Pint” for the car
• People’s choice
