    Job Description
    Bookkeeper Responsibilities

     

    · Maintain up to date records of financial transactions
    · Develop a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts as well as implement and oversee new programs which lessen human error and streamline workload

     

    · Maintain subsidiary accounts
    · Balance general ledger
    · Maintain historical records
    · Prepare financial reports
    · Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirement

     

    Whatever duty is needed as part of a small family business 

    Qualifications
    · Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred
    · CPA is a plus

    Computer literate 
    · Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred
    · Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is preferred
    · Must know QuickBooks

    Pay
    Starting at $18.00+/hr depending on experience. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5PM.
